Ms. Lea Walker is the founder and the President of the U.S. Chinese Culture Center.

Dear friends, would you like to travel to China without paying a large sum of money? Would you like to experience a more in depth understanding of splendid Chinese culture instead of only a superficial understanding through cursory observation? If so, then your CHANCE is NOW. Click here for our current teachers’ comments.

Please Bring your friends, classmates, parents, and family members to our Teach in China Info Session: 10 AM - Noon, Saturday, September 22nd, on Columbia campus of University of South Carolina: Humanities Classroom Building Room 202. Mr. Eric Albritton is CCC's Program Director for our Teach in China Program.
He graduated from USC in December 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in
International Studies. Eric went to China in February 2005 through our Teach
in China Program, and did great job for his host school in Northern China.
He had made a lot of friends there, and traveled all over China. Eric was
adored by his students and colleagues in China due to his great teaching
methods, friendly personality, and great job performances. He was on local
TV and in newspapers all the time as a model foreign teacher. Upon his return
in January 2006, Eric became CCC's Program Director and one of our TESL Instructors. Eric missed his teaching life in China, and went back in Feburary 2008 as our Local Director in China and teaching in our program at the same time.

Refund Policy:
If by the designated departure time, The Chinese Culture Center hasn't secured a teaching/working position in China for you, you'll get back whatever you've paid for the Teaching/Working in China Program (including the Summer Program) if you did not miss any application/payment deadlines, and submitted all the required documents by the official application deadline posted on the CCC web site at your application. In that case, you may keep our TESL training/materials/certificate as free gifts. You have nothing to lose, but wonderful work/life experiences and a brighter future to gain! Otherwise, no refund will be issued.

Flights:
The Chinese Culture Center is to book the group flight tickets for you, and you pay for the one-way airfare directly to the travel agency, and you'll get a receipt. For 10-month contracts (two semesters), your host school will reimburse you for your one-way airfare to go to China by the end of your contract (If you don't have an original receipt, you'll not get the reimbursement). And the school will also cover your return flights when you finish your contracts. For 5-month (one semester) contracts, the host school will only cover your return flights. For summer contracts, it depends on the negotiated terms with each individual sponsoring school and/or agency in China. When you first arrive in China, we will have someone from the school to meet you at the airport, and you can ask our local office there for help if you have any questions or problems.

At the end of your first academic year teaching contract, if you wish, we may place you in another school or even in another city/province without additional program fee, so that you will have chances to see different parts of China, and experience more varieties of life in China.
Besides the 10-month term teaching positions, we also offer summer teaching positions, which are especially good for those who want to visit China or do internships during summers; and the sponsoring school will arrange some sightseeing and tours free for you just as for the 10-month term teachers.
If you are interested in teaching in China, please register online and email us your resume today!
